Jackson's Doctor Appointment

Jeremy & I took Jackson to the doctor yesterday for his 2 year check up. We had just taken him spur of the moment 3 weeks ago because we were for sure he had an ear infection. He didn't end up having one, he just had a cold! When we were there last time, he was very uncooperative and didn't want anyone to touch him. I was expecting the same this trip. Jeremy & I were both surprised when he acted totally different. He let the nurse take his blood pressure (he was very interested in the cuff), measure, weigh him and listen to his chest without protest. He even smiled and laughed at her and he was just as good for his doctor. He even opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue. Big deal???? Not exactly, last time we had to hold him down the whole time while he cried and tried to do the complete opposite of anything you asked him to do. So this was a drastic improvement! He was so good and we were both so proud of him. She said he looked fine and he's on track. He weighed 25 pounds which is in the 13% on the charts. He was 35 inches tall which is 63% on the charts. He's always been low on the weight chart so no surprise there. He doesn't have to go back till he's 3 although we will soon be seeing her frequently with the new baby.



Here's our family picture we had taken a couple of weeks ago. It's not the best of Jeremy or me but it's one of the only pictures we have of all three of us. It's really good of Jackson though!
